The Contingent Workforce within BBC is essential to the delivery of its world renowned content as well as innovations such as iPlayer.

The Resourcing & Talent Contingent Workforce team is a new team and an integral part of the overall HR function, providing specialist resourcing & talent services to the BBC. We are looking for a Resourcing Administrator to join the team to manage the smooth flow of requests, and assist the Advisor's and Senior Advisor's in ensuring that all all the necessary checks are in place before confirming assignments

Role Responsibility
The Resourcing Administrator will act as the first point of contact for enquiries, by working on our in-house system Remedy to triage requests. The numbers of requests will fluctuate, however, due to the demands of our business areas the volumes are usually high.

Additionally you will:

  • Performing checks to ensure gross paid engagements are compliant based on documentation provided by the worker including LP10's and Kit Lists
  • Provide a smooth end to end support service for our contingent workforce on their engagement lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to: booking, eligibility to work checks, expenses, systems support
  • Maintaining a smooth flow of administration throughout the resourcing process and ensuring central records are maintained
  • End to end query management across all sources, including telephony and email working to predetermined SLAs
  • Contributing to a culture of service excellence and support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, risks and priorities
  • Form relationships with other key stakeholders including Payroll and IBM working seamlessly to provide an efficient service to the end users.


Are you the right candidate?
  • Previous administration experience in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of requirements
  • Prior experience of working with People systems such as SAP is desirable
  • Previous experience of working in a high volume resourcing team is desirable
